Position Mission

Donor Communications furthers the mission of The Fellowship of Catholic University Students by serving and communicating with the FOCUS community – donors, staff, and students – regarding donations. We provide quality and timely service, craft unique designs, and manage communications for the FOCUS Community with a joyful spirit and a servant’s heart.

The role of a Donor Care Specialist is to support the FOCUS Community – donors, staff, and students – with donation-related questions. A Donor Care Specialist is responsible for the handling of all constituent group questions, problems and complaints via verbal and written correspondence, resolving support desk inquiries. A Donor Care Specialist assists with entering, updating, and verifying donor database information. A Donor Care Specialist also supports the Donor Communications Manager with special projects as needed.

 Position Responsibilities

  • Resolve support-related inquiries for donors, missionaries and staff with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Professional and cheerful communication via voicemails, emails, mail, and calls.
  • Act as the primary contact for missionaries and staff with donation-related questions.
  • Assist with entering, updating, and verifying donor database information. Once trained, must be able to perform duties with greater than 99% accuracy rate.
  • Interact with staff in a fast-paced environment, sometimes while under high levels of pressure and stress. Remain responsive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Support the Manager and Donor Communications team with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, databases and direct mail.
  • Professional and friendly customer service skills.
  • Excellent, customer-focused written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to navigate various forms of technology.
  • Ability to follow instructions with an attention to detail and work independently.

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, we anticipate paying $43,680 - $47,840/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.
