Position Mission

The FOCUS Marketing team supports the mission of FOCUS by communicating with students, benefactors, staff, and others. The role of the Marketing Project Manager is to plan, organize and oversee projects from start to finish and ensure the project is finalized to the contentment of all stakeholders, within the designated budget and timeline.

The Project Manager works with the customer to identify the project’s goals, objectives, and scope and creates a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required. They communicate with the project team and external department stakeholders, manage issues, and monitor progress to ensure the project stays on track. They also evaluate the project’s success and identifies areas for improvement in future projects.

Position Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee marketing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with FOCUS mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify project objectives, goals, and scope, and create comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
  • Maintain a sense of ownership of FOCUS brand and messaging and assist other departments in ensuring alignment of messaging across internal and external touchpoints.
  • Facilitate and maintain relationships with vendors/partners (graphic designers, copywriters, agencies, etc.), overseeing contract management and adherence to brand standards, while facilitating seamless communication between customers and vendors.
  • Manage project issues and risks, and proactively identify and address potential challenges and solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to designated budget and timeline.
  • Evaluate project success and performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement for future projects.
  • Develop and produce media content aimed at fostering spiritual growth and transformation in individuals, aligning with the mission of FOCUS.
  • Foster collaboration and unity among FOCUS staff and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Support FOCUS staff by providing necessary tools, resources, and feedback to aid in mission success.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while fostering relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years relevant experience (preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects on schedule and on budget
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, highly proficient in building relationships
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Passion for our mission and commitment to the organization’s values

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, we anticipate paying $60,000 - $75,000/year. (This role is also eligible for bonus pay.) This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.

In this position, the Marketing Project Manager will be expected to fundraise a minimum of $3,260 per month to support their work with FOCUS.
