Position Mission

Staff Care provides world class investment in its people by providing care, counsel, and resources to help staff flourish as individuals and in their roles. The Staff Care Fellow is responsible for becoming familiar and trained in the various avenues of the Staff Care Department, including but not limited to: Employee Relations, Suitability, Employee Sensing, and Employee Services. While the below responsibilities include what these teams do, you will not be responsible for doing all of them at all times, but would become familiar with each of them seasonally and throughout the year as needed. With experience, responsibilities may be added with time. They will engage in deputized fundraising and is expected to fundraise their salary. 

Position Responsibilities

  • Shadow others in Employee Relations when they meet with Area leadership
  • Conduct check-ins and Pastoral care for employees
  • Become acquainted with the Employee Relations portal, Personnel Report, and Suitability Portal
  • Respond to external inquiries
  • Work with others to prepare documents for resignation conversations, termination conversations, administrative leave, special assignments, etc.
  • Assist with the annual hiring process for staff - first reviews, big 3 collections, etc.
  • Help conduct Exit and Stay interviews, transition touch points, and broken acceptance interviews
  • Become familiar with FOCUS policies and communicate with staff regarding policies that relate to them
  • Cultivate Divine Intimacy
  • Participate in the Fellowship Program
  • Personal MPD


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Computer proficiency 
  • Smartsheets training

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, we anticipate paying $40,000 - $72,000/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.

Personal Mission Partner Development (MPD) is one way in which FOCUS invites others to be on mission with us through the gift of their financial support. In this position, the POSITION will be expected to fundraise a minimum of $3,260 per month to support their work with FOCUS.
