Position Mission

The Saint Timothy Missionary’s role is to accompany priestly discipleship groups digitally throughout the year with highly leveraged in person events including; SEEK, Pastor Summit, Retreats, etc.   Accompaniment groups are always 2x2 with another STF missionary and integration with other FOCUS departments is integral to the mission.  Our goal is to equip the Priests to make missionary disciples using the simple, repeatable, process of win, build, and send through three phases: First by learning the principles with their fellow priests, second forming missionary disciples in their own personal apostolates, and third sending their discipleship group out to make disciples by imitating Jesus and St. Paul (2 Timothy 2:2).

Position Responsibilities

  • Guide the establishment and trust of a priest small group.  Help them to learn to pray together using Lectio Divina, Experience a transformative Bible Study (Crux), and Go through critical foundations articles to teach win, build, and send. 
  • Coach the individual priests to pray daily using a depth chart, start their own bible study, give each member a gospel invitation, and those that respond help them grow to become a missionary disciple and give them the high call.
  • Equip the priests to coach the missionary disciples through sending them into mission.  Accompany them through the implementation of the little way in their own personal situations and parishes.  
  • Help lead formative enterprises for diocesan groups, parishes, and regional events (Retreats, Workshops, mission trips, etc).
  • Living in community (where possible), making effort to pray with one another, going through formation/team development, encouragement in Sacramental living
  • Saint Timothy missionaries should fundraise a minimum of $3,260 per month and be working towards being within 100% of their 14:28. Spends at least 3 hours per week and at least 2 full weeks per year cultivating Mission Partner relationships and/or seeking new support.

Qualifications

  • Willing to commit to working with the Fellowship for at least 3 years
  • Stable support team
  • Team Director experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, we anticipate paying $57,750 - $70,500/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.

Personal Mission Partner Development (MPD) is one way in which FOCUS invites others to be on mission with us through the gift of their financial support. In this position, the POSITION will be expected to fundraise a minimum of $3,260 per month to support their work with FOCUS.
