HRIS Specialist

Position Mission
The HRIS Specialist serves as a critical enabler of our organizational mission by creating and maintaining efficient, transparent HR systems that free our leaders to focus on what matters most – developing our people and advancing the Great Commission. This role transforms complex HR processes into seamless experiences, ensuring our staff and managers spend less time on administrative tasks and more time on discipleship, outreach, and mission fulfillment. By providing reliable data, streamlined workflows, and intuitive system solutions, this position directly supports our ability to steward our most valuable resource – our people – as they carry out God's calling for our organization.
Position Responsibilities
- System Administration
- Configure and maintain all modules within the Dayforce platform.
- Manage user access, security profiles, and systems permissions
- Lead system updates and enhancements
- Perform regular system audits and preventive maintenance
- Data Management
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HCM functions
- Develop and execute data validation processes
- Manage employee data imports/exports and mass updates
- Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR/Payroll processes
- Design and implement automated workflows
- Document system procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with HR team to translate business needs into system solutions
- Reporting and Analytics
- Build and maintain standard and custom reports for department request
- Create executive dashboards for HR leadership and other leaders as needed
- Analyze system data to provide insights for decision-making
- Technical Support
- Collaborate with IT and HR to come up with resolutions for system issues
- Represent the needs of HR to the broader organization and Dayforce when needed
- Manage system integration points with other systems and applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and a technical aptitude
Compensation & Benefits
For this role, we anticipate paying $48,000 - $56,000/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.
