Senior Financial Analyst/Finance Manager

Position Mission
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in equipping FOCUS leaders with the financial insight they need to steward resources faithfully and make data-informed decisions. This role is responsible for delivering clear and timely financial reports, supporting long-range planning and forecasting, and partnering with teams across the organization to evaluate performance and inform strategy. Success in this role requires strong analytical acumen, proactive communication, and a heart for mission-driven work.
Position Responsibilities
- Reporting & Analysis: Deliver accurate, timely monthly departmental and organizational financial reports; interpret results and identify trends or variances.
- Forecasting: Support the creation of periodic financial forecasts, integrating historical trends and strategic assumptions.
- Budgeting: Contribute to the annual budgeting process through department-level support, data analysis, and tool preparation.
- Business Partnership: Serve departments and leadership through ad hoc analysis, special projects, and decision support requests.
- Team Contribution: Actively contribute to the Finance team’s performance and culture by participating in team discussions, sharing insights, and encouraging growth among peers through collaboration, feedback, and shared mission.
Qualifications
- Mission-aligned with a desire to serve in a Catholic apostolate
- Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting (3–5+ years preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate financial data for non-financial audiences
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (CPA or MBA a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools
Compensation & Benefits
For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $135,000/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.
